I’m a Ph.D. student in economics at Northwestern University. My research concerns the origins of the fiscal state and modern economic growth, with a specific focus on Britain. You can find a list of ongoing projects and prior publications here.
For some of my (more) fun writing, check out Great Transformations, my highly irregular newsletter on European economic history. In my spare time, you’ll probably find me running—or skiing, if no one plows the road in the morning.
